The Legion of Mary Invites you to join us!
The Legion of Mary is the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church, with over 3 million active members in almost every country in the world! Our organization has been approved by the last 6 Popes and endorsed by the Second Vatican Council.
The goal of the Legion of Mary is to glorify God through the sanctification of its members. Members strive to grow in holiness through a balanced program of prayer, study and apostolic work.
We meet once a week for an hour and a half for prayer, planning and discussion in a family setting. Then they are assigned a definite work each week in pairs.
Active Membership is open to ALL Catholics 18+ years who faithfully practice their Catholic religion. Auxillary Members are also vital to our ministry! As the praying arm of the Legion of Mary, this option allows for members to contribute to our mission from home and is perfect for those unable to attend in person.
We have an active Legion of Mary chapter at St. Thomas More - please join us!
Meeting Times:
