The Respect Life Committee is dedicated to promoting respect for the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.  We strive to increase parish awareness of abortion issues and encourage participation in pro-life activities.

We are committed to promoting parish prayer to end abortion, spreading the word that there is help available for pregnant women in need and for women who have had abortions, assisting with fund-raising for the Gabriel Project, and keeping the pro-life message before our fellow Catholics.

We work under the guidance of the diocesan Respect LIfe Office.  The committee meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Coffee House.

An ongoing event sponsored by our committee is prayer at an abortion center. Our parish has adopted Aaron's abortion facility, 6430 Hillcroft as a focus for our prayers.  We have a small group which meets Saturday morning at 9:00 AM to pray the Rosary. We stand on High Star, outside the parking lot, and invite others to join us in this prayerful presence.
