Children who are over the age of 7 who have not been baptized will be prepared to receive the three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist). Children who were baptized in another faith will be prepared to make a Profession of Faith and receive Confirmation and Eucharist.
These students will undertake a special course of CCE study on Sundays during their first year of preparation in order to accelerate their learning of the faith.
In addition to Sunday CCE classes in the second year, these students will attend 3 Saturday classes during the fall/winter to focus on Baptism/Confirmation. They will attend 3 Saturday classes during the winter/spring to focus on Eucharist.
Parents MUST attend the Sunday Parent Classes during their child’s CCE time each year. In the Sacramental Preparation year, Parents MUST also attend one class on Baptism/Confirmation and one class on Eucharist.
