Knights of Columbus Monument to the Unborn By Bob Cage – KofC State Education & Training Chairman An unassailable belief in the right to life and the Pro-Life movement in particular has literally been put in stone with the erection of your Knights of Columbus Southwest Council 3910 Monument to the Unborn. Erected in March of this year after several years of council discussion, planning and site selection, the construction is now moving into the second phase with the sale of engraved memorial paving stones which will soon be offered to the church community wishing to display their affirmation for a final and complete end to the evil of abortion. Funding for the monument and meditation bench were provided through the many fundraising activities your council is involved in throughout the fraternal year. Net proceeds from the sale of the 4” x 8” and 8” x 8” paving stones will be donated directly to the Gabriel Foundation. Please pause for a moment at the monument site for reflection as the souls of God’s children are honored through this memorial and consider the thousand upon thousands of lives that are taken annually by abortion clinics throughout the world. Please remember them in your prayers !
